As a part of Blue U, you’ll gain real-world skills while supporting our commitment to sustainability, innovation, and the production of safe, high-quality food. Explore our opportunities below and find the path that’s right for you.
We hire for potential, not just a job title. We offer a single, streamlined application process. Instead of applying to a specific department, you apply to our program as a whole. We take a personalized approach to placement, matching your unique skills, academic background, and interests with the teams where you can make the biggest impact.
Our departmental availability changes each year based on upcoming projects. This flexible model has allowed us to offer diverse opportunities across multiple areas, including marketing, human resources, finance, IT, product management, sales, supply chain, and operations.
As a paid intern, you'll earn $17/hour while working on real-world projects under the guidance of experienced professionals.
Our program currently includes only summer internships. Our interns work onsite in our beautiful, modern offices and are ideal for current post-secondary students or recent graduates seeking to kickstart their careers.
Looking for a head start? Our Youth Apprenticeships provide a bridge between the classroom and the professional world. They are flexible, hands-on roles designed for students ready to gain real-world experience. Youth apprenticeships become available based on the evolving needs of our departments.
Stay on Our Radar: Since we offer these opportunities on a rolling basis rather than a set schedule, we encourage interested students to share their information with us in advance. By submitting your resume today, you ensure that you are at the top of our list when a new apprenticeship project is launched.
Not sure which career path is right for you? Our Job Shadow program offers a low-commitment, high-impact way to explore the professional world. We offer students a front-row seat to life and Nelson-Jameson, customized to fit your interests and your calendar.
We know student schedules are packed. We take a flexible approach to both timing and duration. Whether you are looking for a focused two-hour deep dive or a full-day immersive experience, we do our best to coordinate with our internal teams to find a window that works for everyone.
